UPDATE: Its a Heater hose, Thanks TinFoil. $24 bucks at !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . This thing is getting expensive.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

With every one I fix, another pops up. Same deal this time, another shrunken hose. Looks like I'll be going to Oreillys today before I finish my homework. Hose is a buck a foot there, any Idea what hose this is and how long it should be? It looks to be about 3/4 of an inch shorter than it should be. I'll probably do an oil change and a filter change while I'm at it, about 1500 miles early.

The leak is at the bottom-front of the engine:

And the hose leads to the firewall on the passenger side:

My brakes have been squealing, I wonder if the leak is coating the discs.

Some were replaced by the PO, some weren't. I don't know which ones were. It's just something I have to keep an eye on

If you give the hose a squeeze and it feels crunchy it's due for replacement.

I think I blushed when I noticed the update

It doesnt really feel crunchy, but it feels dehydrated. I really dont know how to describe it. Its like the handle on a 30 year old golf club thats been stored in a garage in arizona
